Monnington Rally Easter Monday. An excellent rally as usual although with less turnouts that in 2006 and so it was not necessary to split it into two groups. A super tea provided by John Bulmer and his team.
Westons Cider Rally August 7 turnouts attended this rally with Kay Walton and KCRescue Centre’s Bess taking the prize for the best turned out. Superb hospitality from Westons providing all whips an grooms with a ploughman’s lunch.
Two training days were run one at Sellack house and one at Much Birch. Both well attended and it is hoped to run some more in 2008.
Monnington visit October The visit to the Monnington Stud was very interesting and well attended. We were treated to a display of training techniques, long reining, driving and riding. A truly memorable evening.
News Year Day Drive was attended by 7 turnouts and led by Roy Moore and his pair of Fresian Stallions a lovely drive with refreshments at half way courtesy of Meadowbank Riding School and then hot soup back at KC.
